After growing up in the northeastern part of the country, I’d had enough of the long winters, however i was never a fan of sub zero temperatures or feet of snow, but looking to get away from the wet & cold, I moved to Dallas, Texas, after my school graduation. At the time, I was still paying off student loans, and the move was upscale. Although I was lucky to secure a job in my field, it was an entry level position. I had hopes of a promotion & a raise. I was unwilling to throw cash away on quarterly rent. Instead, I obtained a house, with my limited funds, the condo was a bit rundown. I was very careful with my budget & saved up to make condo improvements. I was just starting to make progress when a storm hit the area. The high winds wreaked havoc with my roof. Along with chopping shingles off, the storm brought down important branches. The torrential downpours caused major water detriment to the ceilings, walls & floors. There was no way I could afford all of the necessary repairs. I needed to get out from under the responsibility of that house. I couldn’t sell it by conventional means because the condo wouldn’t pass a condo inspection; My only option was to contact a cash condo buyer. I expected to get a very low offer. I was pleasantly surprised that I acquired an offer that was honest & comparable with other sales in the town. The best part was the speed & ease of the process. I was under a fantastic deal of stress because of the declining condition of the home & mounting expenses, however because of the cash buyer, I was able to close on the sale in under ten days.
